  1. There are two Terminal Exams in a year after each of which report on conduct, application and general progress is issued to parents. Students who fail in those examinations are not considered for promotion to higher classes. Regular Unit Tests feature of this school.

  2. Only those pupils who have paid all School fees are permitted to sit for the Half Yearly & Final Exams with Admit Card.

  3. Special arrangements cannot be made for pupils who for any reason are absent from examinations or any part of them. Answer scripts of the final examinations will not be returned to parents.
  4. The minimum pass mark for each subject is 40 out of 100 mark and students who fail in any subject in the aggregated mark of the annual examination are not considered for promotion to higher class.

  5. A pupil who fails for two consecutive years in the same class must be withdrawn.

  6. Pupils found copying or using any unfair means during any examination may be debarred from the rest of the examinations and will be considered as having failed.

  7. Ranks are given only to those who pass in all the subjects.

  8. In all questions of promotion and failure the Promotion and failure the Principal’s decision is final. A student who fails will not get a TC with passed certificate.
  1. The following co-curricular activities are encouraged in the school. Sports and games, skits, library and reading, and competitions in singing, general knowledge, games, declamation, debate, quiz and cultural dances.

  2. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, bullying, ethnic clashes, conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school, etc, justify dismissal at any time of the year. One whose sickness is liable to be injurious to other students may be asked to stay away.

  3. The  school  accepts  no  responsibility  if,  through  failure  to wear the school  uniform  or to  bring books to the class or to  produce  the  signature  of  parents  on   remarks  written by  teachers  in  the  absence  record  of  the  calendar  etc. The   school   will   not   be   held responsible in anything untoward  happenings when  a student is sent home for the above reasons.

  4. Every care will  be taken  to ensure the  safety and  security of   the   children. However,   the   school   cannot   be   held responsible  for  accidents  small  or serious,  to  pupil  during their  stay  in  the  school  or  while  taking  part  in  sports and   other  co-curricular   activities   within   or  outside   the school premises.

  5. Parents/Guardians are expected to make proper arrangements to collect the children immediately after the classes. Though proper care will be taken to ensure the safety of the children, the school cannot be held responsible if the student leaves the school campus on his/her own accord.

  6. The School Dairy is a record concerning the student. Therefore, every student should take special care of the calendar, which is to be brought to class daily. Parents/Guardians are urged to go through the dairy periodically.

  7. Any misbehavior of a serious nature that has become public knowledge is liable to bring about suspension or dismissal, even though it may have taken place off the school premises.

  8. Any damage done to the school property must be made good by the pupil concerned.

  9. No books other than the study books are allowed in the school premises.

  10. Stealing and forging of signature are serious faults and any student found guilty is liable to immediate dismissal.

  11. Pupils on their way to and from School are expected to deport themselves in a responsible manner.

  12. Active concern for the poor, in the form of social service and collecting in kind to alleviate lot is part of the duty of every child. It is expected that this extends beyond the boundaries of the school.

  13. The pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. The school assumes no responsibility for them.

  14. Parents and guardians are not allowed to visit their children or interview teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal.

  15. No student is allowed to leave the school campus during the school hours. Lunch break is within the school campus itself. All the students are exhorted to bring Tiffin.

  16. During the absence of teacherfrom the class, pupils must obey the class leader appointed to maintain good order.
  17. During  the  recess,  no  pupil  is  to  remain  in  any  of  the class rooms.

  18. Any communication (request or complaint) made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the class teacher. This must be done during office hours in the office.

  19. No fines of any kind or collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made by any teacher without the previous sanction of the Principal.

  20. For the benefit of those students who commute by the school bus, the existing bus routes and bus stops should be maintained and under no circumstance should they be changed by anyone. The management has the right to do so if  it helps the student community in general.

  21. A Parents who is dissatisfied with the working of the school in any way is free to take his or her child out of the school and put the child into any other school of his or her choice. Incidents of misconduct among minors outside the classroom at times may happen. In such cases parents should be more magnanimous in understanding the situation.

  22. School   Leaving (Transfer)   Certificate   will   be   given   only to   Parents   or   Guardians   three   days   after   submitting the application.

  23. Admission Fees : Admission Fees include Establishment Fee, Fan & Light Fees, Games &Sports Fees, Repair & maintenance of Building & Furniture, Library, Festival, Audio Visual Aids, etc. and January Tuition Fees.

  24. Use  of Chewing gums,  Mobile  Phones, Camera,  I-Pod,  Pen drive & Intoxication items in the school campus & in the bus is strictly prohibited. The gadgets will be confiscated and will not be returned if anyone is found with any of these. If caught red- handed, serious action will be taken against such students; it may even cause dismissal from the school.

  25. To acquire a greater facility in the study of English, only English should be spoken on the school premises and in the school buses. Students who do not respect the rule of language and violate it after three times of warning will be suspended from the school for a period of time.

  26. A pupil who has been suffering from or who has been in contact with any infectious disease must produce a certificate (from a competent authority) that he/she may attend school without the risk of conveying infection.

  27. No Transfer Certificate will be issued and no fresh admission will be taken at any time of the year, unless fees for all 12 months are paid.

  28. This  School  being  a  Minority  Institution  of  the  Catholic Church only Christian Festivals are celebrated within the  campus.  In  all  such  celebrations,  the  donations  and the  presence  of  non-Christian  Staff  and  pupils  are  in  no way compulsory.

  29. Parents are not supposed to write any message in this diary. If they want they can send it in a separate sheet of paper.

  30. No office work will be done during holidays and on vacations. Third Saturday of every month will be a holiday.

  31. The Management is not responsible for loss of valuable goods in school or outside school. Pupils should not bring expensive ornaments and other distractive items to the classroom.

School facilitates reading habits through library facilities

  • Students are not allowed to keep any book borrowed from the library longer then  a fortnight without permission. For each delayed day Rs 10/- will be fined.

  • If a book is lost or damaged the students will have to make good the loss or the damage.

  • Before asking for any book each student should have his old book duly crossed out in the register.

  • Students should not borrow school library books from one another.
  • Read  this  School  Diary  carefully  and   bring  it  to  school every  day.   Make   a   note   in   it  of  any  thing   important to you.

  • This is your School. Keep it clean and tidy so that you and others may be proud of it.

  • Converse  in  English. Encourage  your friends to do the same. Aim at full attendance and unfailing punctuality. Inculcate good values and imbibe  honesty and sincerity.

  • Work hard and do well in every field. Your Parents, Society and the Nation expect a lot from you.

  • Do not leave the classroom or school compound without prior permission.

  • Always behave in such a way, that your parents and teachers feel proud of you.

  • Take care of the School property. This is your second home.

  • Read good books and cultivate good manners. Be systematic in everything you do.
  • Make  out  a  schedule,  allotting  time  for study work  as well as play.

  • Read the newspaper daily. It will keep you aware of what is needed in the highly competitive world of today.
  • Never give up till you succeed. Untiring effort is the need of the hour.

  • Each one of us has been created for a definite purpose. So identify your latent talent/ interest and develop it relentlessly
  • In order to promote all that is best in the education of the child, the maximum  cooperation  between  parents and  School Authority is desired.

  • We earnestly recommend that parents or guardians should  look into their child’s home work book everyday and see to it that work assigned for the next day has been satisfactorily completed. The child should be encouraged to cultivate neatness. Remarks or reports made in Calendar should be read and countersigned regularly.

  • It is the duty of parents to see that their children come to school neatly dressed and in time for class.

  • Should you feel that your child is not making the desired progress, a visit to the Principal may be highly beneficial.

  • As your child advances in age, guide him or herto become a resourceful and useful member of society. Encourage self-reliance in work and study. The child should be encouraged to get involved in challenging work at home, in the neighbourhood and in the school. The formation of such habits early in life implants in child the idea of dignity of labour and the value of community service.

  • Your nurturing of the child in a spirit of prayer and concern for the poor and the marginalized, will enhance the efforts of the school to impart genuine love of God and neighbour.
